APL is the country’s largest manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors. This building in Hautapu Waikato spans 400m long and 100m wide using natural energy as far as practical (natural ventilation and lighting) as well as a range of services to suit the industrial processes within the building.

Qwerty Systems Ltd has help this building target a 5 Star Green Star rating utilizing a Building Management System to achieve this. We have integrated air conditioning, factory ventilation, window blinds control, water meters and gas meters all through a Niagara4 system using up to 6 different communicating protocols.
